Joanna has been writing marketing content for over a decade. With a background spanning various sales and marketing roles, she decided to specialise in the one thing she loved doing in all her jobs – copywriting.
Starting out as a freelancer, Joanna realised that, as much as she loved writing for her clients, her daily musings were wasted on her dog. She’s now delighted to have found the best of both worlds, working alongside the Yardstick team to support our clients.
When she’s not writing – or running around after her young daughter, chocolate labrador, and two rabbits – you can generally find her buried in the sofa watching a sitcom, eating far too much cheesy pasta, or pretending not to care when she loses at crazy golf.

Rosé if it’s available, white wine if it’s not.

I will complain consistently throughout both. I much prefer Spring and Autumn!
Holiday Abroad or 'Staycation'?
These days I prefer staying in the UK. I love taking our dog on little adventures in the countryside, eating too much at the pub, then falling asleep in front of a fire.
Fiction or Non-Fiction
Always fiction. I love everything from the Brontë sisters to Stephen King, so no genre preference as long as it’s a good story told well.
