Emily joins us in a new role as marketing and operations assistant to support Phil, Emma and the rest of the team as Yardstick continues to grow.
Emily is a marketing graduate from Nottingham Trent University and has decided to stay in Nottingham to begin her career at Yardstick. Away from the office, she enjoys cuddles with her dog, shopping, nights out with friends and don’t get her started on Christmas, it’s her favourite time of year!

Full English or Continental?
Continental, the variety that you get in a continental breakfast is unmatched. And if you get full, you can pack a ham and cheese crispy bread roll for lunch.
Red or White?
If I have to, white, but I much prefer cocktails.
Summer or Winter?
Winter. I LOVE Christmas. The smells, songs, food, lights, nostalgia. Getting cosy with a hot chocolate & a blanket watching The Grinch in front of the fire after a day skiing - just perfection to me.
Holiday Abroad or 'Staycation'?
Abroad. The last few years have made me appreciate staycations but going abroad generally tops it for me.
Fiction or Non-Fiction
I’d most often choose fiction. Roald Dahl and Michael Morpurgo are still probably my favourite authors but I also like a bit of true crime and a David Attenborough documentary.
