Head of Social Media

Abi

Abi is our Head of Social Media, joining us with a mixed bag of social experience from her work in higher education, events, and the media. She has an MA in Early Modern History with Distinction and her dissertation title was ““Niver go upon t’stage without thy name’s i’ t’ bill”:  the power of the playbill in late eighteenth-century Leeds theatre.” Naturally, this comes with obligatory encouragement – “come on!” “you must know this,” and “you do history” – whenever she watches a quiz or game show with her family.

In her spare time, Abi can be found at the gym, kickboxing, watching F1, or reading a good book and relaying the plot to her poor boyfriend after every few pages. She also spends a lot of time on the M1, heading up to Sheffield to visit friends and family.
