Dan
Dan is our Head of Branding & Design, and has been here since the very beginning.
His passion for design (he’ll talk to you for hours about different fonts, given half the chance!) is truly inspiring. So is his dedication to delivering the very best content, and branding, to Yardstick’s clients.
Dan brings huge experience to us, having worked as a freelancer and in various agencies. With over half a decade in financial services, he can delicately navigate the roads where design, compliance and client engagement converge.

Full English or Continental?
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so make mine a B.E.S.T on three please, and don’t go light on the brown sauce. Bacon, egg, sausage and tomato on three of the thickest slices of bread you can get your hands on. Oh, and a strong tea as well if you don’t mind.
Red or White?
Definitely red meat – you can’t beat a perfectly grilled rib eye steak, can you? It’s even better with a glass of wine!
Summer or Winter?
Summer for the views, canoes and barbecues, winter for the stews, booze and snowshoes.
Holiday Abroad or 'Staycation'?
Staycation – I like my tents leaky, my summers wet and my beaches full of bright red bodies.
Fiction or Non-Fiction
Mainly fiction, although I did read a great non-fiction book about the different types of wine recently…
