Do this simple thing with your Google and VouchedFor reviews to get more referrals and introductions

This idea will get you more referrals from existing clients and introductions from professional connections.

When a new client introduced to you by an existing client or a professional connection leaves a Google or VouchedFor review, share it with the person who made the introduction.

It’s so powerful because it:

  • Validates the client or professional connection’s decision to recommend you
  • Shows that the person they trusted you to work with had a good outcome
  • Is another touchpoint to keep you front of mind.

That’s a win-win-win.

And it’s free.

Be one of the few who do this

There are probably two reasons why most advisers/planners don’t share their reviews.

Firstly, many won’t have considered the idea; hopefully, this blog helps change that.

Secondly, others will simply forget. That’s easily solved by checking when you reply to the review (remember to use our free ChatGPT tool – The Yardstick Review Responder), whether it came from a new client introduced to you by a client or professional connection.

If it did, take a screenshot of it and send it to the person who made the introduction using this email:

“Dear <insert names>

Thank you again for introducing me to <insert the name>.

I thought you’d like to know that they have been delighted with the work we’ve done together and have recently left this review on Google/VouchedFor.

We value your introductions to us, meaning people you care about will have a better financial future.
